Samantha Herrera

My name is Samantha Herrera. I'm Mexican American. I love reading, writing, coloring, singing, dancing, cooking, and hanging out with family and friends. I'm studying neurobiology at Harvard College and I am pre-med, with hopes of eventually becoming a neurosurgeon and an author. I am passionate about literature. A novel is the best way to travel and broaden your horizons without even having to leave your home. I'm also very passionate about medicine, global and public health, and health equity. Everyone should have the ability to receive care and be healthy, no matter who they are or what their background is. I'm extremely excited to be a part of WPC and be able to have an impact on the future of medicine.
